Madhya Pradesh Police recruits Assistant Sub-Inspectors for clerical and stenography work through the state's Employees Selection Board. Alongside the written test and physical standards, candidates take a skill test on computer in which Hindi typing is central. Because Madhya Pradesh uses Unicode Hindi through CPCT, typing is done on InScript or Remington Gail. Longer tests are common in this recruitment, so stamina matters.

Police clerical work in MP
ASI (Clerk) staff maintain station and office records, prepare correspondence and handle establishment matters. Passages are administrative Hindi with police vocabulary such as थाना, आरक्षक, उपनिरीक्षक, विवेचना and प्रतिवेदन.
Some posts may also ask for a CPCT score. If you already hold one, your practice carries over directly.
Build stamina

Expect two to three weeks of daily practice before you can type Hindi comfortably without looking at the keyboard, and another few weeks to reach exam speed. Starting early makes the difference.
