Police office Hindi

Police office work involves first information reports, case diaries, duty rosters and correspondence with district headquarters. Words like प्रथम सूचना रिपोर्ट, थाना, विवेचना, अभियुक्त, आरक्षी and उपनिरीक्षक appear frequently. Practising these until they flow is the fastest way to gain speed for a police typing test.

Uttar Pradesh typists commonly learn Kruti Dev. Our Kruti Dev mode accepts the same keystrokes and shows the text in Unicode, so you can practise without installing the font.

Different posts, different tests

ASI Clerk usually needs Hindi typing, ASI Accountant may include computer and accounting tasks, and computer operator posts can include practical computer tests. Read your post's section in the notice carefully and practise exactly what it asks for.

Practice routine

  • Daily 10-minute Hindi test on your layout.
  • Two English tests a week if your post needs English.
  • Drill police and office vocabulary from your error list.

Typing speed and accuracy targets

If your post requires 25 words per minute in Hindi, aim for at least 30 in practice with accuracy above 95 percent. A margin of five words per minute protects you from the effects of nerves, an unfamiliar keyboard and a difficult passage. Check your net speed, not your gross speed, because net speed is what usually decides the result. Your progress page shows both, along with your accuracy trend over recent tests.

Tips to pass the UP Police typing test

  • In Kruti Dev, practise ि and reph words until you never hesitate on them.
  • Keep accuracy above 95 percent; police tests often reject results with too many errors.
  • Do not let physical preparation crowd out typing practice.
  • Use blind mode to get used to typing without seeing errors.
  • Check the layout on the exam computer before you begin.
